Boynton Beach is named for Nathan Boynton, a Civil War major from Port Huron, Michigan, who first saw the area in 1894 and opened the Boynton Hotel by the beach in 1897. The town incorporated in 1920 and still uses the motto America's Gateway to the Gulfstream. About 80,400 people live here today, between Boynton Beach Oceanfront Park, just north of the old hotel site, and the Boynton Beach Mall, which opened in 1985.

Loosened lint is pulled out with a vacuum, then we clean the lint trap.
