North Miami began as Arch Creek, was incorporated in 1926 as the Town of Miami Shores, and took the name North Miami in 1931. Today about 60,200 people live there, on Biscayne Bay in northeast Miami-Dade County. On the bay side, salt air reaches outside vent caps, and on any older home, a cap that's been painted over or bent can keep the flap from opening. We clean the cap on every visit and check that it opens fully when the dryer runs.

How it works
We look inside the vent and show you what's there: lint, blockages or damage.
A standard vent is $89. Renovated home, bayfront condo or roof vent? You get the price first.
A rotary brush loosens lint from the dryer side and from the outside exit.
Loosened lint is pulled out with a vacuum, then we clean the lint trap.
We run the dryer and check the airflow and flap at the outside vent.
